Meet the baby who was born twice


(CNN) Margaret Boemer opted for a regular ultrasound 16 weeks into her pregnancy with her 3rd kid. She rapidly discovered that things were far from regular.

“They saw something on the scan, and the physician was available in and informed us that there was something seriously incorrect with our infant which she had a sacrococcygeal teratoma,” the Plano, Texas, mother stated in an interview shared by Texas Children’s Hospital. “And it was frightening and extremely stunning, due to the fact that we didn’t understand exactly what that long word indicated or exactly what medical diagnosis that would bring.”
      While infants dealing with surgical treatment unquestionably battle, moms’ psychological journeys may be most remarkable and tough. As Cass explains it, initially their obstetrician informs them there’s something incorrect then they’re informed there’s absolutely nothing that can be done and their infants will pass away then a cosmetic surgeon informs them there’s something that can be done.       “It was extremely tough,” Boemer stated.
      But seeing her young child smiling with her sis, she included: “It deserved every discomfort.”
