Paris Haralson, former NFL linebacker, dies at 37 | Sports

Paris Haralson, A former linebacker of the San Francisco 49ers has died. He was 37 years old.

A statement from the NFC team confirmed Haralson’s death on Monday (September 1).

“Paris was a dear member of our organization who lived with an extraordinary amount of passion and joy, while leaving an indomitable impression on everyone she came to,” the 49ers said. “Our condolences to the family and loved ones in Paris.”

The cause of Haralson’s death has not yet been revealed.

Harrelson was drafted by the San Francisco NFL in 2006 and went on to play six seasons with the team. He traded to the New Orleans Saints in 2013 and played his final game a year later.

“Haralson had an unforgettable smile, an exuberant attitude and teammates and coaching staff were equally deeply honored for his combination of reliability, leadership and professionalism,” Santra said in a statement. “The organization’s thoughts and prayers go to the Haralson family.”

After his playing career, Haralson served as director of the 49ers’ player engagement for two seasons.

Adam Snyder, A former teammate and 49-year-old player, remembered Haralson as a great man.

“Paris Haralson has been one of the best friends in the locker room for many years,” Snyder said Wrote on Twitter. “He made everyone around him laugh. We had some tough years and he was always the man I was looking forward to seeing. It hurts. Miss You Already P Town.”

Ryan Sakamoto, One of Haralson’s Niners teammates, described him as someone who would make him laugh.

“My good friend and former OLB Paris Haralson, 49, has died,” Sakamoto said. Wrote on Twitter. “I literally didn’t talk to him very long ago. Paris, I’ll miss our discussion and your unwavering support. You always smiled at me and put a smile on my face when putting others first. God gets an angel. RIP.”
