Autumn is just around the corner, and in the new season there is no better way than the soothing words of Fuji. Yes, you read that right, Rumiz. The legendary team, made up of Lorinhill, Wyclef Jean and Pros Mitchell, will tour together for the first time in 25 years.
The group announced on Tuesday morning that they would be touring the world to celebrate the 25th anniversary of their 1996 album ‘The Score’. The 12-city tour will begin on Wednesday, September 22 at an undisclosed location in New York. The rest of the tour will run in Chicago on November 2, and will hit various cities in the United States before admitting to Nigeria and Ghana.
“Fuji has a complex but influential history,” Lurin Hill said in a statement. “I did not know that the 25th anniversary had come until someone brought it to my attention. Creating where we can get together, serve our favorite music and set an example of reunion for the world. ”
Wyclef Jean is grateful to be on stage with his groupmates after such a long break.
“When I celebrated 25 years with the Fujis, my first memory was that we pledged from the gate, we would not just sing we would be a movement,” he said. “We will be a voice for non-hearing people, and in this challenging time, I am grateful again, God has united us.”
