According to a social media report obtained by MTO News, Tiger Lanez was taken into custody this morning after police said he had violated a defensive order against Mega The Stallion. He has been denied bail – and could face up to 20 years in prison.
A California state judge ruled last month that Tory Lanez violated his restraining order while performing at Rolling Loud on the same night as Megan Thi Stallion in July.
As a result, Lanez’s bail was initially 190,000 to $ 250,000 – which he paid. If convicted, Tory could face up to 20 years in prison and is not expected to see the light of day until after the trial, MTO News has learned.

At the time, the judge told Lanez, “You are very lucky that you have immediate bail,” and warned that the “set it” paper, 29, would be sent into custody if he again violated the order.
Last night, the 29-year-old tweeted an ominous message that read, “It’s real.” He then deleted all the pictures from his Instagram account.
During today’s hearing, social media reports claimed that Tori was taken into custody, and his bail was revoked. It’s not clear why the judge changed his mind – and took Tory into custody.
Three months after Megan was accused of shooting a Houston native in the back of the leg, a restraining order was issued against the “set it” papyrus in October 2020. The protective order prevented Lanez from commenting on the shooting.
He was not convicted in November 2020.
