Authorities have officially issued an arrest warrant for Gabby Petito’s fiance Brian Laundry, following intense speculation that his roommate was involved in his murder. Brian’s arrest warrant came just days after it was determined that Gabby Petito had died in the murder after finding his body.
Brian Laundry has been charged with using an unauthorized access device for using Gabby’s Capital One debit card. The U.S. District Court in Wyoming, Colorado, has issued a federal arrest warrant for Denver through a statement from the FBI.
Since the FBI is asking the public to come forward with any information about Brian Laundry’s whereabouts, FBI Denver Special Agent Michael Snyder has spoken briefly about this latest development in the case.
“While these warrants allow law enforcement to arrest Mr. Laundry, the FBI and our partners across the country continue to investigate the circumstances and circumstances of Mrs. Petito’s murder.”
As we reported earlier, Brian Laundry was officially named by police as an interested person earlier this month. He did not cooperate with the police when he tried to interrogate her, which led to her being dropped as the main suspect in Gabby’s murder.
He had been missing since Sept. 17 because his family told police they hadn’t seen him since Sept. 14 when he complained he was on his way to Carlton Reserve, north of his home in North Florida.
