Joyda Shaves and Gregory Wright were reportedly detained in Jamaica

Mom, entrepreneur and influential Joyda Shaves always makes it big when it comes time to celebrate. Anything from a party to an event and especially a birthday, whenever Joyda and her crew come out, it’s a scene! Over the weekend, he traveled to Jamaica on a private jet with Shane Justin, Greg, Des Dyer and others. The crew recorded most of the trip on Instagram and of course it was fired. However, as the trip was coming to an end and the group was planning to return to the United States, unfortunately, it seemed that they had some problems.

Jamaican broadcaster Dadrian Gordon reportedly shared the news via his Twitter account that Joyda and her friends had been detained after trying to leave the country and had firearms on them. Joyda Shaves was arrested for a gun. Weapons are licensed in the United States but were taken to Jamaica without permission, “he tweeted. A few hours later, he shared an update that not only Joyda has been arrested but Greg has also been arrested. Dadrian tweeted, “Joyda Shaves and Gregory Wright have been charged with possession of illegal weapons and ammunition. They have been booked to appear in the West Regional Court on Wednesday.

Without a word from Joyda or Greg, people start to get worried and share their concerns on Twitter. So much so that Jamaica and Joyda started trending on Twitter. Eventually, Joyda went to her Instagram story and wrote down the seemingly problematic issues, “Do normal. I’m fine for now. Greg also shared a post sharing prayer emojis in her Instagram story. At the time, details about the alleged detention were thin, but Dadrian was more. Shared information that came from Jamaican authorities.

At this point, we can’t confirm the reports, but we’re keeping an eye out for more information coming out from Jamaican news outlets because this story is still evolving!
