5 albums I can’t live without

Austrian electronic duo transport that draws the audible mindset. The sounds of peace and harmony break together in the air and come back in pieces.

Arch fire

Was there. At home. Nearby. On the street. Floating in the void. Feeling everything. High hopes, but with that unbreakable cover of reality. The pure arrival of age. Hope. Dreams. Everything is possible. I think once on a trip I looped this record for 48 consecutive hours.

A time interval of emotion. They have lost themselves, rediscovered who they were and wanted to be, and then transformed. This incredible work is their journey but I think it is ours too. It’s got us all.

Moon safari

The wind

Moon Safari is a brilliantly syncopated orchestral, downtempo dream floating on a cloud-shaped Rhodes keyboard. All you have to do is press play.

Amniotic listening is a grounding, centering journey. Once it settles you, it will lift you up. And a better person than you before you listen.

Honorable mention:

Music is the right of children

Board of Canada

I first heard of this gem of humanity on the Lower East Side, in 1999. The album wraps its arms around you, then slowly lifts you into space.

Led Zeppelin III

Led zeppelin

This album sounds like a solid gold unicorn flying through the clouds, wearing a leather jacket, drinking ice cold beer. Occasionally random. Sometimes beautiful. All hearts, everywhere.

A rare moment where the Swedish metal band does not scream, does not break. Pure, unexpected beauty.
