American Idol finalist Saisha Mercado reunites with her son

Roommates, if you follow the story of ‘American Idol’ Season 7 finalist Saisha Mercado and her partner Tyrone Diner, you know that they are fighting to get back the custody of their son Amen, whom they affectionately call Ra. . The couple shared their struggles as they tried to bring him home after taking care of them in March. As previously reported, doctors at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital reported in the Manty County Sheriff’s Office that Ra was suffering from malnutrition and would have died without proper treatment.

However, those are claims that Saisha denies and says she went to the hospital for help because she could not produce breast milk. Today seems to be a bright day for the family as they rejoice as Ra finally returns home after pastoral care. Saisha did the update on her Instagram page, where she recorded the whole experience. While Tyrone was driving, he shared a video with Saisha in the back seat with their daughters Ast and Ra. If you recall, the couple reunited with their daughter in April after Manty County Sheriff’s deputies removed her from their care due to a so-called Child Protective Services (CPS) investigation the following week.

In the shared video, you can see the excitement on the face of Saisha and Ra because they are happy to be together. Tyrone took a moment to thank everyone for their support while fighting to bring Ra to the country, but he also shared that the war was not over. “Ra is officially back with us, but it didn’t end there because he had to deal with six months of state supervision to come to our country,” Tyrone said. He went on to explain that every week for the next six months, the couple would have to prove that they are qualified and able to raise Ra. Again he reiterated that even if Ra was at home, the CPS would monitor him and Saisha for six months.

Roommate, let’s keep this family in our thoughts as they continue to fight to keep Ra at home!
