Roommate, Celina Johnson recently shared her feelings about her former music partner and Kelly’s recent criminal verdict. And while discussing Kelly’s legal issues, Celina Johnson said she believes she should receive treatment at a mental health center instead of being sentenced to prison.
Speaking about the jury’s decision to convict Kelly in a high-profile court case in New York, Celina Johnson said:
“I will not cry. I think he was really misunderstood here. I don’t think he should be in jail. I think he should be in an insane asylum. The real thing.
Don’t twist it. I think he needs to be in a straight jacket. I think some of the behaviors that are coming down are irregular, and I think a lot of black men in prison have been misunderstood. They just put black people in jail. If you go crazy, if you kill, everyone will go to jail.
This guy really needs help. He has to stay in the insane shelter. Rt! The real thing. In medicine, the point of the drug where – constant therapy – it is too much. That’s too much. “
As we reported earlier, after several years of allegations of sexual harassment and abuse of young and underage girls, a federal jury convicted Kelly in a sex trafficking trial.
He was convicted on nine counts, based on allegations that he ran a criminal venture consisting of managers and assistants under him who helped Kelly meet young women and girls for his sexual desires.
