Farah Khan has revealed why Amitabh Bachchan could not be a part of Diwangi Diwangi song

Farah Khan was present with Ravina Tandon on The Kapil Sharma Show on Sunday. The two had a fun chat on the show. Choreographer Om Shanti Om talks about the very special Diwangi Diwangi song, which has cameos of many Bollywood stars.

Farah regrets that several stars could not be part of the song. He revealed that Ravina could not take part in the song as she was pregnant. The choreographer added that he also wanted to cast veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan in the song but he refused. “Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan are getting married that month, that’s what he told us,” Farah said.

Farah also wanted the legendary Dev Anand to appear in the song but he told him, “I don’t play a guest role.” Choreographers Dilip Kumar and Saira Banu were contacted and he further revealed that Shah Rukh had promised to bring them on board, but things did not work out.

Farah further explained that the song was very organized and systematically shot where five stars were called in each day and each was given two hours. He further said that he and designer Manish Malhotra personally visited everyone’s house to persuade them to be a part of Diwangi Diwangi songs. “Some log plus-one may a gay (some people came as plus-one),” he joked.
