# Roommate, after being arrested on drug charges, Fatty Wap has been given a chance at freedom. After officially posting a $ 500,000 bond, Fatty Wap was released from prison after being arrested earlier this week on drug trafficking charges.
U.S. District Judge Joanna Seberry formally approved Fatty Wap’s release after she posted a $ 500,000 bond with the following conditions: GPS monitoring, random drug testing, surrendering her passport and getting approval before all travel, according to a former U.S. Attorney’s Office spokeswoman.
As we reported earlier, Fatty Wap was arrested by the FBI in New York City while she was at City Field in Queens, NY, to attend the Rolling Loud Music Festival. Fatty and others were charged with distributing cocaine, heroin, fentanyl and crack cocaine across Long Island and New Jersey. Authorities claim the drugs were obtained off the west coast and then smuggled to the east coast in USPS vehicles with secret bogies.
“We pray that this is a big misunderstanding,” said Fatty Wap’s lawyer. He is watching the judge today. Hopefully he will be released so we can clean things up quickly. ”
Meanwhile, U.S. Attorney Brian Peace of the Eastern District of New York said, “Allegedly, the defendants deliberately contributed to the transportation, distribution, and sale of more than 100 kilograms of deadly and addictive drugs, including heroin and fentanyl, on Long Island. An opioid epidemic that has devastated our community and claimed many lives. “
According to a complaint, the alleged drug campaign lasted from around June 2019 to June 2020. At least five of the defendants have been charged with possession of firearms to protect their organization. During the investigation, a search was conducted where $ 1.5 million, 16 kg of cocaine, two kg of heroin, large quantity of fentanyl pills, two handguns, a rifle, a pistol and ammunition were recovered.
