How Cheryl Eisen went from being Brock to decorating for the stars

You never know where you’ll find that life-changing spark of inspiration. For Cheryl Eisen, It was on his mother’s sofa.

For some time in the 90s and early years, Eisen was running his own successful company. But, in the midst of the dot-com bubble crash, its executive went under the search firm and the entrepreneur suddenly became unemployed with a complex work history. “I broke down in my 30s, lived on my mom’s sofa and I had to rediscover myself completely,” he said in an exclusive interview with E! News. “No one would hire me because I had a CEO in my resume and I didn’t go to college.”

Although he has already tried to name a few of the various gig-art directors, graphic designers, and Macintosh software educators, Eisen later turned to real estate, securing his license and a place in an agency where the commission was his income. Ever the intelligent business woman, she stood in the saturated market after getting an idea from an unexpected source. “I was watching HGTV in my unemployment days, and I watched this show called Staggers“He remembered,” and no one in New York at the time was doing that. And I thought, ‘It’s really neat. Maybe I can be the stage that sells real estate. “

A local resident of New York City, who grew up with an interest in art, decided to merge his two worlds. “I was creative. I had a good eye for things. I had no experience, but New York real estate, the only way to be able to compete in the very competitive real estate market to get the list, was to differentiate,” he explained. “And I saw it as an opportunity.”

Although Eisen had to bear the cost of staging the spaces himself, he drew inspiration from a book. Kelly HopenIts interior design and work has started. The effect was immediate. “The first time I did it, it was so successful. The property was sold on-demand, all in cash, fully equipped,” he said, “where the seller tried to sell himself for about a year without any success. Stageless, so it’s a great transformation.
