One year after release Ultra mono, IDLES is back with their fourth record Crawler And dropped his first single “The Beachland Ballroom”.
Crawler Partisan Records is due to arrive on November 12. The 14-track record was co-produced by Kenny Beats and IDLES guitarist Mark Bowen.
The single is named the Cleveland Venue we’ve highlighted before, and the video screams with a raw, up-close shot of Joe Talbot in front with the instrument’s thrash pounding. Sweaty and almost bloodshot, Talbot leaves us with a dazzling performance as if persuaded to free a prisoner.
“It’s the most important song on the album,” Talbot said in a statement. “There are a lot of bands that go through small rooms and dream of turning it into a big room. Being able to write the melody of such a soul has allowed me to go, fuck – we are in a place where we are actually allowed to go into these big rooms and be creative and not just have to go at speed and get what we really appreciate. The song is a kind of lost feeling and a metaphor for going through it. It’s that I really love to sing. ”

The UK band will be sold in October and will tour North America on the 23rd.
“I didn’t know Joe could sing like that,” Bowen said. “He’s been trying to write‘ Be My Baby ’from the beginning, but he didn’t want to be a punk guy dressed in motown. He wanted to make it feel normal and this song. “
