Rape of a woman by a homeless man on the subway; Passengers watch in IG and livestream !!

MTO News has learned that a woman was raped in a semi-crowded L train at around 10 pm yesterday. And the passengers just didn’t let the rape happen. MTO News learned that some passengers actually took out their phones and live-streamed the attack on social media.
Alleged videos of the attack were sent to MTO News, but we are not going to post them here.
Upper Derby Police Supervisor Tim Bernhard told reporters Friday that the alleged attack took place around 10pm on a westbound train scheduled for the Assault Threesome terminal.
According to police, a Septa employee called police to say “nothing went wrong” on the train that came with a female passenger. Septa responded to the police terminal and took 355-year-old Fiston Engoy into custody.

The victim was taken to an area hospital for treatment and police said he had “recovered”. Officer Bernhard called Victim an “incredibly strong woman” and praised her courage in speaking to police about the attack.
The accused rapist, Fiston Engoy, faces charges of rape, sexual harassment and indecent assault.
Engoy, who police believe may be homeless, faces charges of rape, assault, sexual harassment and more. He is being held in Delaware County Jail on 100,000 bail.
Officer Bernhard added that there were “many people” on the train who he believed could have stopped the attack.
“In my opinion, a lot of people should have intervened,” Bernhardt said. “Someone should have done something, it speaks to where it is in our society, who would let that happen?”
