# Roommates, although Rory and Mall were shocked and saddened by the exit from Joe Bowden’s previous podcast – the two not only launched their own, but now they have officially become the equivalent of a brand new deal. During a recent interview, Rory and Mal confirmed their new partnership with SiriusXM’s Stitcher, officially hinting that they have left the past behind and their future looks quite bright.
It turns out that Rory and Mal must have gotten on their feet after exiting Joe Bowden’s former podcast. Om Complex reports that Rory Farrell and Jamil “Mall” Clay’s independent podcast “New Rory and Mall” has been officially picked up by SiriusXM’s Stitcher, which will be released via the Stitcher More Sauce label. In addition, Rory and Mall will have a live podcast of the show in both New York and Los Angeles this November, with more scheduled for 2022. However, the most important part of the announcement is that these two have revealed that they will hold 100% ownership of the show.
Talking about the new partnership, Mal said, “There were other offers at the table with more money, but they were not consistent with what we were trying to do. We didn’t feel the same connection with other people. It was also discussed that “some new elements” would be brought to their podcasts, including sketches and different approaches to interviews because fans were “really attracted to the sketch stuff and other things we’re adding.”
Rory, meanwhile, explained the vision for the show, saying, “I am thrilled that the show’s creative agenda will be to take the show forward without taking a specific person forward. We can do a lot when it comes to snatching pride, when our real focus is not personality, it’s the show. That’s why I’m excited. ”
You can watch the first episode of the Rory and Mall podcast below their new deal on November 1stSt. And the episodes will be published every Tuesday and after Friday.
