Roommates, Shawn King shared that his daughter Candy has now returned home from the hospital after being injured in a car crash. Earlier this week, Shawn King pleaded for prayer and thought after being hit by a car in Manhattan, New York.
On Instagram, Shawn King posted the following update about his daughter, as her condition has improved considerably to leave the hospital:
“Update: Our daughter Candy has just returned home from the hospital and will be at home with us for at least the next few months. Thank you for your prayers, support, kind words and encouragement. They have helped us. I have one of the best communities in the world. I love everyone.”
PS: I need to get back to work soon to do what I do for my family. Part of the understanding of being an entrepreneur is that a lot of work falls on you. Appreciate your support. This photo must have been taken a few months ago. FYI. “
As we reported earlier, Shawn King announced that his 19-year-old daughter Candy had been hospitalized after being hit by a car. In a video posted on social media, Candy was seen lying in a hospital bed, with a caption explaining that she was hit by a car while walking on the streets of Manhattan.
At the time, Shawn wrote, “24 of the hardest times of our lives. Our daughter Candy, who is 19 years old, was hit by a car while walking in Manhattan and suffered a brain injury and several serious head and body injuries. I’ve been here since yesterday morning. I was in ICU with him. “
We’re thrilled to hear of Candy’s progress and wish her and the rest of Shawn King’s family well in our prayers.
