Summer rock sets Skilllet, Sevendust, Pop Evil, and Devore de de Pierre, to rock the riverfront to the crowds from the Middle East to return to Illinois. The lineup increased a few more degrees with the hot night of August.
This energy trio comes from Memphis, Tennessee. Guitarist – vocalist Blake Allison, bassist Joey played a kind but powerful set with “Chicago” Walser and drummer Ronnie Farris songs, “Respect”, “The Censor” and “Good Man”. They have an album of rock hits in 2012, which is worth listening to.

What more can be said about this Michigan crew? Always a favorite at any venue, big or small, they travel from fans and from far and wide to see the energy they produce. The powerful vocals of Le Kakati, the rhythm of Dave Grahs, the deep bassist Matt Dirito, the guitar reef of Nick Fueling, and the amazing drum sounds of Hailey Kramer. Likes all fans, including “Deal with the Devil”, “Be Legendary”, “Take It All”, and “Trenches”. The sound of their blue collars combines with the cheering song of the fans to force any listener not to sing down the window through the upper part of their lungs.

1 In 1994 in Atlanta, Georgia was awakened by a band like no other. Sevendast took the stage with a unique and powerful sound that is still strong today. Whether the venue is filled after venue opening or headlining you must see the mark they have made in the music scene. Crowds of fans from as far away as Florida and their home state or Georgia. Vocalist Lajan Witherspoon, lead guitarist Clint Lowry, bassist Vince Hornsby, rhythm guitarist John Conley and drummer Morgan Rose. It’s hard to pick a favorite from it with 12 albums. Almost all of them play “Dirty”, “Black”, “Shine” and “Thank You” to name a few.

Christian rock in rock and metallic scenes is something that can resonate if done well. Skillet has perfected this term over the years. Started in 1996 and has been going through many changes since then, today’s term can only be called perfection. Lead vocalist and bassist John Cooper, wife, keyboardist, and rhythm guitarist Corey Cooper, lead guitarist Seth Morrison, and drummer Jane Ledger have appearances and aura that remain constant after the show ends. The crowd was excited and ready for the whole set by opening with “Fail Invincible”. The new hits “Legends” and “Victoria” celebrate the release of their new album. And closing with “Monster” and “The Resistance”. 1 song set is over but the fans can feel the strength even after a few days.
