Smoky Robinson has revealed that he is almost dead from COVID-19

The effects of coronavirus continue to hit our favorite star and iconic motto singer Smoky Robinson Revealed that the virus almost took his life.

The Grammy Award-winning singer shared that in December last year, he spent 11 days in a hospital in Los Angeles after contracting the Covid-11 infection in an interview with the Daily Mail.

According to the outlet, Robinson contacted Covid after spending time on the street just before Christmas 2020. Her initial test results were negative, but the second test came back positive. After isolating himself inside his guest house, he found it difficult to breathe and was rushed to hospital.

“Luckily, I never had to use a ventilator. I never lost my taste or smell, but it wiped me out,” he said. “I lost all my energy and couldn’t get out of bed and walk to the bathroom without getting tired.”

“I am a coward. I was hospitalized for 11 days. Four out of five, I don’t even remember, ”he said. “It’s really touching and go, and a terrible debilitating disease.”

Added, “Even when I got home, I was yawning; I couldn’t try to sing because I was scared. It was one of the most terrifying battles. ”

According to Robinson, doctors credited the 81-year-old’s active and healthy fitness lifestyle because he was able to defeat the virus.

“They told me that it was fortunate for me, especially at my age, that I took care of myself, but of the grace of God and for this truth, I probably wouldn’t speak here right now,” Robinson said.
