The 2021 BET Hip Hop Awards aired on October 5 and retained its name as “The Biggest Night of Hip Hop”, not just because of the blockbuster performances, skits and costumes, but for the audience who tuned in.
According to BET’s music special team, the show doubled its ratings and impressions on Tuesday night. BET now hosts the top 20 Cable Cable Awards shows for black audiences: “BET Awards” (# 1), “BET Hip Hop Awards” (# 2), “NAACP Image Awards” (# 3), and “Stellar Awards” ”(# 4.)

The numbers aren’t surprising as the show was packed with hilarious skits from 85 South (DC Young Fly, Carlos Miller, And Chico Bin) Who has returned as host, from Performance Young thug, Guna, Beer, Lil John, Baby Kim, And Isaiah Rashad You had to believe as an actor and a dazzling cameo (just Google Nick Cannon).
Tyler, the producer won three awards, winning “Best Live Performer”, “Hip Hop Album of the Year” (Call me if you get lost) And the inaugural “Cultural Impact Award”. Lil Baby Won multiple awards, including “Artist of the Year”. Cardi b And Megan Thi Stallion took three awards for “WAP”. Young Blue Named “Best New Hip Hop Artist”, and Jay Cole Was named “Lyricist of the Year”.
