The state of California has filed a lawsuit against Kanye West’s Yezi brand over shipping

It’s mine, and I need it now! Unfortunately, when it comes to online shopping, shipping can become a problem for some customers. Whether it’s shipping costs or the time it takes to get an item (s), this is a bad aspect of online shopping. However, the great state of California is taking measures to protect customers who have purchased from Kanye West’s Yezi brand when they claim he failed to send the item immediately.

According to the complex, a lawsuit was filed Oct. 22 in Los Angeles County Superior Court through LA County District Attorney George Gascon of the state of California. The lawsuit alleges that the company failed to deliver the item within thirty days and, among other complaints, failed to give customers adequate delay notice. The state district attorneys of Alameda, Napa and Sonoma counties also included legal documents seen by the publication in the case.

The most significant claim in the lawsuit is the allegation that the company violated the California State Business Code. These categories specify that products purchased online must be shipped within 30 days. If the item, for whatever reason, is not delivered within that time, the merchant is responsible for returning it to the customer, contacting the notice of delay, or seeking other solutions. Also, the lawsuit alleges that Yeeji made untrue or misleading statements about the company’s ability to ship goods within a specified time frame. This is especially important for customers who have paid for fast shipping charges.

According to the Adidas website, where consumers can buy stock Yeji items, they outline the standard shipping process in 3-5 days and an additional 1-3 days for processing. Their express shipping takes three business days. Currently, district attorneys are requesting that Yeezy be fined $ 2,500 for each violation and that compensation be paid on behalf of the affected consumers.
