U.S. Department of Health and Human Services says employers are not violating HIPAA privacy laws by asking about the status of the covid vaccine

On Thursday, the U.S. Department of Civil Health and Human Rights Office issued a statement saying employers could ask workers about the status of their covid vaccination.

In short, the company is not violating any law that requires employees to disclose their vaccination rules.

The press release states that the guidelines were published “to answer questions about the general workplace situation and whether and how the HIPAA Privacy Rules apply. This information will be helpful to the public as we continue to navigate the Kovid-1 pandemic epidemic.”

“We are issuing these guidelines so that consumers, businesses and healthcare organizations can understand when applying for HIPAA Covid-1 vaccine disclosure status and ensure that they have the information they need to make informed decisions about protecting themselves and others.” OCR Director Lisa Pino said.

As you know, there is a sharp division between vaccinated and unpublished which has started protests and constant conversations on social media.

Earlier this month, Biden introduced a new vaccine guideline for employers with 100 or more employees, healthcare and federal staff, so that Covid-1 cases could exceed the latest increase in cases.

During a news conference, Biden made sure to inform the American people that those who are unpublished are weighing in on his last nerve. “We have endured, but our patience has waned, and your refusal has hurt us all,” he said.

According to CNN, it was also announced that “300,000 educators must be vaccinated under the Federal Head Start Program.” He urged the governors to make the Covid-1 vaccine mandatory for school teachers and staff.
