Watch Bob Mold Jam Husker D’s ‘I’m Sorry’ with Fred Armison SPIN

Bob Mold and Fred Armisen performed Husker de Hit’s “I apologize” at this year’s Hardly Strictly Business Festival.
Rockers and comedians explode in their performances, playing their guitar alone in empty venues. Like two classic rock-loving dads practicing in the garage, Mold and Armisen’s passion for the song carries their performance, creating an extraordinary, intimate jam session.
“I was thrilled when people sternly asked me to act for this year’s online series,” Mold said in a statement. “They were surprised that I had a colleague who might be able to help with a few songs, and I immediately thought of my best friend Fred Armison – he wrote the foreword for it. Distortion – and fortunately he was available on ‘Tape Day’. Fred drove from Los Angeles, we rehearsed the whole set of sound checks, and then drove the set a second time for the cameras. I like it when things come together so easily and we are both really happy with the performance. ”
