Surprisingly, yes, dogs are allowed in the Winchester market যদিও though to be honest, I’m reluctant to bring mine. It is busy, noisy and crowded. Lots of people bring their dogs, but I don’t think my extra excited spaniel will enjoy it too much! Dogs need to be led and controlled at all times.

Yes. Ish. There are ramps, and the cathedral tries to make the whole area accessible to everyone, but it’s an old, historic historic area, with rough and uneven paving and everything that goes! Also, it can be hard to see the ramps in the crowd.

Is there a toilet?

Not inside the market, no. There are only toilets outside (men, women, disabled and children change), but you have to leave the market and re-enter (and re-queue!)
